Crochet your first hat just in time for winter! In this class we will make the Bead Stitch Hat by Erica Dietz together.
You'll learn how work a magic ring and how to increase at the right rate to shape the top of your hat. Some easy and fun special stitches make up the bead rows and ribbing. Amy will also share tips to create and secure a wobble-free pom pom to the top of your hat!

You will need: (not included)
- A copy of the Bead Stitch Hat pattern by Erica Dietz, available from Ravelry or buy in-store
- A 5.5 (I) or 6.0 mm (J) crochet hook and 150 yards of aran or bulky weight yarn for adult size (we used Malabrigo Mecha and Vintage Chunky)
- Basic tools: stitch markers, scissors, tapestry needle, paper & pen etc.

- Chain stitch, double crochet stitch.
Fine Print: Ages 14 & up. THIS IS NOT A LEARN TO CROCHET CLASS but it is good for beginner crocheters. Some crochet experience is required for this class. Classes are offered in person and are limited to a small number of participants. If you choose to cancel, you will receive a refund up to 48 hours prior to the beginning of the class. Refunds will be issued if your class is canceled due to low enrollment.
