Have you been afraid to try short rows? We got you!
In this 2-session class you'll learn what short rows are as well as when to use them and how to create them. We'll focus on practicing the Wrap & Turn (w&t) method and also the German Short Row method (GSR) and how to substitute it when a pattern calls for other methods. Best of all, we will practice the techniques while knitting the Turbulence Cowl by Laura Chau together so we can see first hand that short rows are nothing to fear!

When: This class takes place over 2 sessions, 2 hours per session.
- Saturdays, Nov. 21st & Dec 5th, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
You will need: (not included)
- A copy of the pattern Turbulence Cowl by Laura Chau, available from Ravelry or buy in-store
- A US 9 (5.5 mm) 24" circular needle
- 2 skeins of worsted weight yarn in contrasting colors (we used Vintage, Rios, and 220 Superwash Merino)
- Basic tools: stitch markers, scissors, tapestry needle, paper & pen etc.

Required Skills:
- Casting on, knitting, purling, working in-the-round, working from a pattern
Fine Print: Ages 14 & up. THIS IS NOT A LEARN TO KNIT CLASS. Some knit and pattern reading experience is required for this class. Classes are offered in person and are limited to a small number of participants. If you choose to cancel, you will receive a refund up to 48 hours prior to the beginning of the class. Refunds will be issued if your class is canceled due to low enrollment.
